Rockfish, keepers too!
Friday was sunny, windy and cool with a stiff SE ocean-breeze. Conditions were a little tough, but the fish were hungry and didn’t give a care about our comfort. The prophecy of bigger Rockfish came true today…
Capt. Skip’s charter had a blast today catching and releasing over 33 rockfish, with 4 nice keepers. The angler’s were Joel and Amy Grube of Lancaster, PA, along with Carl & Lori Strickler, also of Lancaster. Amy took the big fish honors with a nice 38-incher, Carl had the second largest with a stout 36″, both fish weighed in right at 17lbs. Everyone caught lots of fish and had a blast! This gang has “Striper Fever” and will be fishing again with Capt Skip on Saturday 5/26.
Great trip and good luck tomorrow!

We had a great time Striper fishing with Skip on Friday and Saturday. The bite was non stop. Excellent boat, equipment and knowledge of Ocean City Fishing. Can’t wait to go again!
